The start of this unit is a strange story and to understand this elite unit you have to know where they originally came from. The base for this unit was started at two places, on two different continents both around the same time. In 1993 the Commando Corps was reorganized. This due to budget cuts and the total reorganization of the Dutch Armed Forces. The Unit is a mobile unit which has there homebase still in Roosendaal. Since the start of the Spec. Ops. unit one thing was clear. They needed to be tough, smart and very inventive. The last thing on this list is something that the Dutch Armed Forces are well known for. If their officer is down, no problem...they can handle it.
